What do you think this creature is?
My 2 year old granddaughter loves this book and we read it often, but she always ask me what is Alfred? I don't know and to make it worse, I don't even have a guess because she would believe anything I told her. It is not a mole because there is a mole in the book under the letter M and it looks like a mole and moles are blind. Any reasonable suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I think he's a sloth! The facial features are similar, and sloths in the wild often turn green because lichen grows in their fur, as camouflage!
